Staying in the Moment
I am by nature a planner. I plan everything. So when I first learned about and tried staying in the moment I must admit that I had some difficulty. When engaged in a sexual moment it seemed like I was always anticipating what was to come instead of focussing on what was. Slowly I overcame this and was able to fully stay in the moment, enjoying every delicious instance.
Staying and enjoying the moment can also have a greater sense. As the speed of life increases we sometimes forget to enjoy and appreciate the moment. How often have we missed admiring the beauty of a sunny sky as we rush to work, or truly feel and appreciate the energy in the good-bye hug of a loved-one as we head out the door?
In life and in love we would do better to slow down and appreciate the moment.
